Gutters and down pipes. All gutters and down pipes are checked for defects i.e. holes, rust, back fall. All defects are noted and photographed.

Fixture test. The plumbing fixtures are subjected to a flow test by filling them with water and checking for leaks and retarded flow while they are being emptied.

Flood test. The entire system is filled with water, the bath tub and shower drains are plugged and filled, water is then released simultaneously to see if your drainage system can cope.
